TBIx is the digital platform for all employees of TBI's subsidiaries. They share ideas, challenges, and successes there. This way, colleagues from different companies find each other faster, respond to each other's input, and collaborate on smart solutions. Together with TBI, we started small and gradually expanded the platform step by step.

TBI was full of knowledge, but it often stayed within the company's walls. There was a need for a central place where colleagues can easily find and support each other, especially across company boundaries. Because: if you know who is working on what, you can more easily think along or ask for help. This makes collaboration more natural.
We didn't start with a ready-made product, but with a simple first version. We developed it together. This way, we could immediately test what works and what doesn't.
Two important lessons: Employees especially like to help when an idea is not yet complete and, at the same time, the more concrete the question, the faster someone responds. These insights have been directly incorporated into the design.
The new platform is set up as an interactive community. Employees can sign up, indicate their areas of interest, and share ideas or projects. Others can respond or brainstorm with them. This creates a network that becomes increasingly stronger.
On the platform you can:
Share ideas that need help
Post challenges for which you seek a solution
Share successes that are worth repeating

More and more people are finding their way to TBIx. The homepage is visited more frequently, and users are clicking through to projects more often. The project page has become shorter and clearer, resulting in visitors staying longer.
We are now working with TBI on activation. Think of mailings with projects that match someone's interests. This way, we encourage usage and the platform continues to grow.
Innovation sometimes seems big and abstract. But in practice, it starts small. Douwe, one of the initiators, does this every day. He listens to people and aligns with what they need. By temporarily letting go of the means, a solution that works ultimately emerges.
