With Track-C, REWIN helps entrepreneurs gain insight into their circularity and take concrete steps to improve. On Tuesday 6 October, the online platform was officially launched during the entrepreneurial event of the Duurzaam Oosterhout Week, together with alderman Dominique Hopmans. Together with REWIN, we developed Track-C from a practical measurement method into a digital platform. The basis for this was laid in Oosterhout in 2024, with a first pilot at Bostik on business park Vijf Eiken.
Making circularity concrete
Many entrepreneurs want to operate circularly, but do not always know where to start. Track-C makes that concrete. Entrepreneurs answer online questions about various parts of their business operations. After that, they receive a personal advisory report with insights, points of attention and practical improvement actions. This shows them what is already going well, where opportunities lie and which steps are feasible. In this way, Track-C goes further than just measuring. Smarter use of materials, less waste and more insight into dependencies on raw materials and suppliers can also contribute to a stronger company. Circularity is the starting point, economic resilience the result.
From Excel to online platform
The origin of Track-C lies with Circulytics, the measurement method of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation. REWIN developed this method, with a license from the foundation, into a practical tool for SMEs. At the start of 2026, the first version was available in Excel. The experiences of participating entrepreneurs then formed the basis for the next step: an online platform. With support from the province of Noord-Brabant and our technical expertise, Track-C is now accessible to entrepreneurs. They can independently carry out a measurement, gain instant insight into their results and determine in a targeted way which follow-up steps fit their business.
Oosterhout entrepreneurs get to work with it
During the launch, entrepreneurs from Oosterhout were also central. Five companies are participating in the competition 'The most circular entrepreneur of Oosterhout' and use Track-C to work on concrete improvements. It is not about the highest circularity score, but about the greatest progress. The winner will be announced during the Week of the Circular Economy in March 2027.
A platform that can grow further
The ambition of REWIN goes further than individual measurements. When insights from companies are eventually brought together anonymously, opportunities and bottlenecks within sectors and business parks can also become visible. This helps to deploy collaboration and support in a more targeted way. For us, Track-C is a great example of what a good platform is meant for: making knowledge accessible, organizing processes smarter and helping people to take the next step. The launch is therefore not an end point, but a starting point. From measuring to doing. And from individual progress to a stronger SME.
